The area was drained in the early nineties by white flight, and ever since has been regrouping into what most of us would call a block-by-block neighborhood. But what gorgeous blocks they can be--full of history (check out Rittenhouse Town), bursting greenery, and some very cool people.
While not the eating empire that resides slightly farther north, this section of Germantown can still boast of an eclectic mix of possibilities, including the fascinating K&J's Caribbean and American Diner and House of Jin's intriguing mix of Asian cuisine and jazz.
